Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 27, 2025
Pickora is privacy-first. All photo selection and elimination logic runs on your device. Photo content is never uploaded or stored on our servers.
1. What We Process
On-Device Data
When you grant Photo Library access, Pickora reads photo metadata (dates, GPS coordinates if present) to organize and display your photos. All processing happens locally on your device.
- Photo identifiers and metadata (creation date, location)
- Album names and settings you create
- App preferences (theme, language)
Third-Party Services
To provide certain features, we use the following services:
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Collects crash reports and diagnostics to help us fix bugs. No personal data is shared.
- Apple Geocoding: Converts photo GPS coordinates into readable place names. This is handled by Apple according to their privacy policies.
- Subscription Management: We use secure industry-standard tools to manage your subscription status. This involves processing non-identifiable purchase tokens to unlock your premium features.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment details. We receive only the necessary confirmation (subscription status) from Apple to provide your purchased services.
2. Children's Privacy
Pickora is designed for a general audience. Since we do not collect personal information from any of our users, we inherently do not collect or solicit data from children under the age of 13.
3. What We Don't Do
- No accounts: Pickora does not require registration or login.
- No tracking: We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- No ads: We do not display third-party advertisements.
- No data sales: We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
4. Your Rights & Controls
You are in control of your data:
- Photo Library Access: You can change or revoke permissions anytime in iOS Settings.
- Delete App Data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored preferences.
- Data Access: Since we do not store your data on our servers, your data stays where it belongs: on your device.
5. Data Retention & Security
Your app data is stored locally on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Crash reports are retained by Firebase according to Google's policies and do not contain personal identifiers.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notification or updated on this page.
