Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 13, 2025
Pickora is privacy-first. Your photos are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload your photos to any server.
1. What We Process
On-Device Data
When you grant Photo Library access, Pickora reads photo metadata (dates, GPS coordinates if present) to organize and display your photos. All processing happens locally on your device.
- Photo identifiers and metadata (creation date, location)
- Album names and settings you create
- App preferences (theme, language)
Third-Party Services
To provide certain features, we use the following services:
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — Collects crash reports and diagnostics to help us fix bugs. No personal data is shared.
- Apple Geocoding — Converts photo GPS coordinates into readable place names (e.g., "Istanbul, Turkey"). Coordinates are sent to Apple's servers.
In-App Purchases
If the app offers paid features, all payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive your payment details. We may receive subscription status information to unlock features.
2. What We Don't Do
- No accounts: Pickora does not require registration.
- No tracking: We do not track you across apps or websites.
- No ads: We do not display advertisements.
- No data sales: We never sell your information.
3. Your Rights & Controls
You are in control of your data:
- Photo Library Access: You can change or revoke permissions anytime in iOS Settings.
- Delete App Data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
- Crash Reports: Contact us if you want crash data associated with your device removed.
4. Data Retention & Security
Your app data is stored locally on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Crash reports are retained by Firebase according to Google's policies.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date will be revised, and material changes may be communicated in-app.
